Conveniently located off Balls Ford Road and close to I66, it is a perfect location for customers coming from all over the county and Northern Virginia.

Premier originally opened its doors as a piano tuning, rebuilding, and service company, soon adding a wide array of services including lessons, instrument rentals, and certainly sales of all types of new and gently used musical instruments and accessories.

Premier Music Center is unmatched when it come to service and product assistance. Unlike most retail piano stores, we have over 25 years experience directly involved in pianos. With a staff of piano teachers at your disposal on the premises, we have the knowledge and know how to answer most questions.

Premier Academy of the Arts

Premier has several highly skilled and classically trained instructors with varied backgrounds to match varied skill sets and needs.

Lessons are private, one-half hour in length, with one lesson per week. Special rates are offered for hour long lessons or if two persons within the same family take lessons back-to-back. Parents are permitted to observe lessons if desired, but must not interrupt the instruction. Lesson days and times are coordinated with the individual instructor. Each instructor determines what materials are appropriate on an individualized basis for the student and assigns method books, music, theory lessons, etc. accordingly. All required materials are carried in stock for easy access and purchase.

Music instruction involves not only the obvious teaching of how to pay the instrument and music, but also includes music theory, ear training, and music history. These elements are introduced by the instructor with creative activities being added including composition and improvisation.

Learning to play takes patience, time and effort. Progress can be slow at times which can lead to frustration. Just think of the alternatives… computers, video games, television…  With support, encouragement and participation, the rewards are well worth the investment of time!

Lesson Fees

$95.00 flat fee per month (payable a month in advance).

Lessons are private, one-half hour in length, with one lesson per week.
